Theresa Rose Campione

Mrs. Theresa Rose Campione, 84, beloved wife of the late Thomas Campione, Sr., passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 in Florida, where she had been residing with her cherished family.

 

She was born on Oct. 3, 1938 in Bronx, NY daughter of the late Raymond and Maude (Priestly) Burroughs and worked in hospitality for over 50 years.  She was of the Catholic Faith and a parishioner of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls.  Theresa was united in marriage to Thomas Campione, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 20, 2011.  

 

Theresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed playing Mahjong, watching her NY Yankees, and puzzles.  

 

Survivors include her devoted family; her son, Thomas Campione Jr., and wife Veronica of FL; step-children, Johanna Lanphier, Patricia Wright and Anthony (Donna) Campione; her cherished grandchildren, Cindy, Scott, Jen, Monica, Matt, Andrew, Jamie, and two special granddaughters, Melanie and Alyssa, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Raymond (Rhonda) Burroughs.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Burroughs, by her step-daughter, Loretta, son in law, Craig, and by two grandchildren, Rich and Erica. 

 

Visitation will take place at the Little Falls owned Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131 on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2023 from 4-6 pm.

 

Theresa's funeral will commence at 11 am on TUESDAY, OCT. 17th from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and Johns Sts., Little Falls where her memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Brian Slezak, pastor.  Funeral procession will follow to the Gerald B.
