Town of Schuyler, NY-Mr. Walter J. “Such A Nice Guy” Kraszewski, age 65, of Millers Grove Road, beloved husband of Ardith J. (Desrochers) Kraszewski, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Monday evening, June 19, 2017 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Walt’s life on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the Schuyler VFW on Woods Lane. To light an online candle or send flowers, please click to the left. Walt was born on Nov. 21, 1951 in Herkimer, son of the late Walter Kraszewski and Rose (Perrone) Kraszewski of Poland. He received his education in West Canada schools then enlisted into the service serving from 1972-1978, until he was honorably discharged. He was last employed with John Werczynski Trucking, Schuyler. Walt was an amazing man who never failed to be there for his family and friends. He came second, his family came first and will be truly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have met him. The biggest accomplishment in Walt’s life was his family. He leaves his wife, Ardith at home; children, Deena Robinson and husband Robert, Jr., of Schuyler, Jared Tripoli and wife Candace of West Moreland, Devon Kraszewski of Schuyler and Jalene Kraszewski also of Schuyler; his mother, Rose Kraszewski of Poland, NY; eight siblings and spouses, Linda Wright, Roseanne Wright, Helen Theis, Angela Potter, Wanda Schmidt, Kathleen Farber, Joseph Kraszewski and Michael Kraszewski; his mother in law, Jean Desrochers; a grandson who Walt was so proud of and affectionately called Walt “Woo Woo”, Nicholas Anthony Tripoli; a adored granddaughter, Braelynne Synrod; numerous nieces, nephews, in laws, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Kraszewski and by his father in law, R. Dean Desrochers.
