Mr. William "Bill" Lasowski, age 76, of 315 North Prospect Street Herkimer, New York, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Herkimer, on October 22nd, 2021.

He was born on February 21st 1945 in Herkimer, New York. He was a proud veteran and worked at Mohawk Valley Bottling Works, Bober’s Market, Polish Community Home, and MDS. William was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Jenny (Bober) Lasowski, his nephew Joey Lasowski, and his companion Carol Congdon.

He leaves behind his brother Joseph and wife Betty of Little Falls, Ronald and wife Bonnie of Dolgeville, and Robert and wife Cathy of New Jersey. He also leaves nephew and godson, Brian and wife Linda of Whitesboro and niece Kristin and husband Christopher, of Delhi. Bill also leaves behind nephews Jimmy, Joseph, and Robert, and nieces Lori and husband Greg and Danielle and husband Timothy. Bill also had great nieces, Christina, Hayley, Emily, Calie, Brooklyn, Kylie, Kara, and Kacy, and great nephew Steven.

Bill was an avid hunter, fisherman, snowmobiler, and loved to watch professional wrestling on television. He enjoyed holidays with family, seeing, and playing with all the children. They will always remember their “Uncle Billy”.

Per his wishes, there are no calling hours. The funeral will be private for the family and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. William and his family’s care have been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funeral and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls, NY 13365.
