Amsterdam, NY-William F. All, beloved father and grandfather, of Cobleskill, New York, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 75.
William was born on June 14, 1944 in Cobleskill NY to Ersilia M. Ferri and Clyde E. All. As a boy he grew up loving the countryside and its simple way of life. As a young man, he joined the United States Marines in the early 1960s before returning to finish high school at Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School, class of 1964. He then went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Following his education, he worked as a private nurse for children and young adults with special needs. William loved to keep busy and was always trying out new professions and skills, which brought him to a variety of places along the east coast. He later joined the Oriskany Falls VFW and remained an active member for many years.
In his spare time, William loved to learn about history, antiques, and spend time with his family. Specifically, he shared his love of coin and stamp collecting with his grandchildren. He was a motorcycle, music, and classic western movie enthusiast. He loved Hersey’s chocolate, local diner food, and a good joke. He had a wicked sense of humor that would shock or amuse almost anyone.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ersilia Ferri All and Clyde All; siblings Judy All and David All.
Mr. All is survived by his three children Cynthia (All) Ferraro of Loris SC, Billy All of Corinth NY, and David All of Greenfield NY; Six grandchildren Samantha Kupferman, Nikki Kupferman, Kaiah All, Wade Brown, Andrew All, and Michael All; Two great-grandchildren Evelyn Kupferman and Frances Kupferman-Flynn; Two siblings Ernest All and Dolores (All) Blodgett; a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.
A date and time of services to be held at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery in Cobleskill NY will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations for the Albany Medical College Foundation Fund, of which Mr. All was an avid supporter. Donations can be mailed to Albany Med Foundation, 43 New Scotland Ave. MC-119, Albany, NY 12208 with memo filled in with “Anatomical Gift Program”.
